Location: the hotel was really close to the mountains and main ski lift and town centre bars and restaurants. The room was new-fashioned, it was huge and the beds were exceptionally comfortable...

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This place is a fantastic traditional property located very close to the Tc Super Chatel Ski Lift, in a convenient spot near the main ski lift, bus stop, and Pre la Joux.

Wonderful location in the mountains, fantastic local restaurants nearby, and conveniently close to the Ski School with reasonably spacious rooms.

We hit the slopes at Les Gets Ski Resort, which was just a short drive away. The hotel had a sick onsite ski rental, so we didn't have to worry about lugging our gear around. Plus, the location was perfect for hitting up the après-ski scene in Portes du Soleil, only a quick bus ride away.

The only thing we wished for was a banging nightclub or party spot right at the hotel. The staff was super chill and gave us awesome recommendations, but it would have been epic to have some late-night fun without leaving the hotel.

great location, close to main street, ski bus, and ski lifts. everything within walking distance. clean facilities. good alpine breakfast. easy check-in and quick checkout. comps well with similar 2-star hotels and is more spacious and comfortable than 3 valleys apartments/hotels. excellent staff and good breakfast. fantastic host. large food portions. ideal room. the location is really good, with a car park lift that saves stairs. very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Great value for the money with clean and spacious rooms, offering stunning views from the balcony. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the village center and with the added convenience of the bus stop right outside. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at a charming two-star hotel in the beautiful town of Chatel. The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The staff were excellent and accommodating, even going so far as to make a special soup for my son when he was feeling unwell. The breakfast spread was good, and the views from the hotel were absolutely stunning. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was convenient for accessing the ski buses and lifts. I had a fantastic experience at this hotel.

I have stayed at a lovely family-run hotel in Chatel multiple times and it never disappoints. the facilities are clean and easily accessible, with convenient parking. the wifi works well and the staff are friendly and helpful. the location is great, close to the main street, ski bus, and ski lifts. Everything is within walking distance. the rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views of Chatel. the comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep, and the continental breakfast is a perfect start to the day. a wonderful experience at Le Castellan. Cons: Everything is what I need and want! 😊.

loved my second stay in chatel, and restaurant le castellan at le castellan made it even better. luxurious holiday with excellent food, stunning views from the balcony, and friendly staff. will definitely return in the future.
